The 43 feet tall Cross was erected in 1954 on Mount Soledad in San Diego
It had been involved in litigations for about 25 years. The opponents claim it is illegal to display a religious symbol on public land.
The Mount Soledad Memorial Association purchased the cross and the land from the Department of Defense in July 2015.
Hopefully the case will be conclued since it's no longer owned by government.
