The BALTICA I was built 1959 at the Husumer Schiffs shipyard

In the years up to 1982 it was used by the WDR on the route between Dagebüll, Wyk amrum

her 1st name was BALTICA I till 1977. Than she was renamed HABICHT II.

it was brought to Liverpool in 1994 and was then renamed Princess Royal

the group who bought the vessel then renamed it Endeavor

but the business venture failed and it had remained in the Liverpool Docks rusting away

The aim of the newly incorporated Liverpool & North Wales Steamship Company(LNWSC)

And run scheduled services between Llandudno and Liverpool

as well as a twice weekly cruise through the Menai Strait in north wales

The ferry is being restored by a band of volunteers
