Jajce's most photographed site is a huddled cluster of 17 tiny wooden watermills on an attractive fanned mill-race at Pliva lake.
Dating back to the Middle Ages, these watermills demonstrate the historical architecture style and carpentry techniques of the region.
The town was built at the confluence of the Pliva and Vrbas Rivers, at the site of a 22 m high waterfall on the Pliva River.
The Pliva Lakes, the Mlinčići Mills, the Pliva River, the Vrbas River, and beautiful mountains are only some of this area attractions.
